It’s here! The day I’ve been eagerly anticipating for as long as I can remember has arrived! EVERLASTING is officially on sale in bookstores across the country, and I could not be more ecstatic--or terrified ☺

More than two years ago Scholastic took me on as one of their authors, and ever since I have been in alternate states of disbelief, wonder, fear, fulfillment, worry, and joy.

Today, I’m determined to be only joyous. I know most authors head straight to the bookstores on their release day to spot their baby on  the shelves, and I will probably go hunting for mine before the day is over. But what I'd really, really love is to see Everlasting on shelves in other stores and in other states :-) 

So here’s what I’m going to do through next Tuesday: I’ll be mailing out signed bookmarks to anyone who hunts down EVERLASTING in their local bookstore and snaps a picture, and then posts that picture on their blog or on Twitter. Just leave a comment with a link to the picture post! I can’t wait to see pics of it out there in the wild!
